Marta Gherardini received her Bsc degree in Biomedical Engineering from Univesity of Pisa, Italy, in 2015. She was then enrolled in the Msc in Bionics Engineering, jointly offered by University of Pisa and Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies. She ended the master studies with a six-month intership at University College of London, where she carried out her master thesis project working on biomedical image processing through Deep Learning techniques. She received the Msc degree in June 2018 and is currently a PhD student in Biorobotics at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies.
